What is public transportation like in Cincinnati?

Public transit is really good if you are in the core part of the city, but outside of that it is pretty hit or miss. So, if you are wanting to take the bus to work, I would recommend living and working relatively close to the more central areas, near Downtown or by the universities. Those are the places where public transit is more prolific.
Public transit in Cincinnati is limited to the Cincinnati Metro bus service. The bus route coverage in the urban areas is much better than out in the suburbs. To get to Northern Kentucky, you need to get the TANK bus. TANK also operates the Southbank Shuttle Trolley, which takes passengers around the entertainment areas of Newport and Covington in Kentucky and Downtown Cincinnati. The Southbank Shuttle Trolley also provides game day transport to Reds and Bengals games. Once you get into the suburbs, your public transportation options are very limited.
