There's also a Plaza location in Kenwood and some Jo-Ann's have decent selections of art supplies (although most are more craft oriented.) If you get one of the rewards cards for Plaza, you get a discount on your purchase, plus membership is free.

Michael's has really stepped it up in art supply quality. You can download their iphone app and get 40% off a full price item everytime you shop. I was able to stock up on my supplies and paint collection over time for half the price. good luck!
