What is the traffic noise from Stirling Hwy like on John St, Claremont?

I visit in the area near there - similar situation with a small street off the main road. Basically you are aware there is a busy road because the hum of traffic is there and all the busy - ness of the road can't be ignored. But, you get used to it and naturally sirens and other noises become very loud at times. But once you are in the house it seems as natural as any other place. It is really only when you spend time elsewhere that you realise it can be quieter in the outer suburbs with no traffic.
