Hi Hayley,
If you regularly travel to the city probably not the best area as there is not a huge amount of public transport but if you work locally you should be ok.

Me and my boyfriend are moving to Brisbane next year and trying to decide where. Wellington Point, Scarborough, Capalaba, Margate, Caloundra and Cleveland are all on our shortlist. We would be hoping to find jobs locally....... Would this be an option in these places do you think? My boyfriend is a chef and I will do any job! Want somewhere quiet and safe manly! Thanks
