Although Cow Hollow in San Francisco is known for being a Mecca for young couples, Cow Hollow is also a good place to live for singles. You are right in the heart of the city and can be virtually anywhere from North Beach to Golden Gate Park in 15 minutes or less. And there is lots to do in and around Cow Hollow itself from great restaurants, green spaces and coffee shops to bars and movie theaters.
The only drawback is that it is super expensive, so you better have a great job if you want to live here.
