While there isn't any ice skating place in Yorktown (except for lakes where you can take your chances), you can visit Bear Mountain State Park in nearby Stony Point, or the private Harvey School's public ice rink Evart's Rink in nearby Katonah. If you are fine with driving 30 mns away to Elmsford, you'll find a fantastic ice skating rink (I've gone there several times and loved it) at the Westchester Skating Academy, where you can also catch a game or have your birthday bash.
