Are there any organizations in Denver that reach out to the homeless?

A really neat organization started in 1989 in Denver. A woman who was working with the homeless saw how many of them just had a temporary fix, but not really a path to changing their future. She created the Women's Bean Project, an organization that teaches women self sufficiency by teaching women skills needed in the workforce. They are helping these women to create a path to success for not only themselves but their children as well. They have tons of food products and also make jewelry. I've had their bean soup on several occasions and used several of their baking mixes. Very good stuff. Sometimes when I am in Denver or Boulder there are homeless who pass out "The Voice", a little newspaper published in Denver. I think its $2 or something and the person handing them out pays .50cents and keeps $1.50 then goes and buys more. The little paper is editorial well done and I read it!
