obviously its the superbowl tomorrow, but do you think in general football is really "important" or popular compared to other US cities where there are NFL teams?

Denver certainly doesn't live & breathe high-school or collegiate football like they do down South, but when it comes to professional football (NFL), make no mistake about it, this is DENVER BRONCO COUNTRY and this entire region worships football. Our feelings are still hurt after the whoppin' we took against Seattle last week in SB XLVIII, but we'll get over it and will be back again competing for another championship ring!

Okay, okay, I almost cried today but for a different reason…. Egads that was a horrific game!

The only other big city I've lived in besides Denver is Dallas, and let me tell you - those people are nuts about their football! You can't go to a middle school, let alone high school game where the stands aren't packed. I'm a huge football fan, but many fans are mild compared to those people.

However, when we won the last playoff game against New England I was at the stadium and there were people crying they were so happy. I love football, but not enough to cry over it. :)
