Is the traffic in Denver a headache for residents everyday?

It all depends on where you're coming from. I went to college in San Francisco, where all traffic going north or east out of the city had to be squeezed onto one bridge each direction. Denver is a BREEZE compared to that. I've also noticed that, unless there's an accident or road work, you really don't run into heavy traffic outside of rush hour.
Overall, the traffic in Denver is not bad when compared to other cities. To put it in perspective, I have worked with Buyers who have moved here from other cities such as Atlanta, Boston, Houston, L.A., Kansas City, Sacremento, San Jose, Phoenix, etc., and all of them have said that we here in Denver should not complain. However, like with all areas, an accident or construction can add minutes onto a commute.
