I can't answer from a technical standpoint, but everyone I know who has lost their job is still unemployed or very underemployed. It seems that things just aren't looking up for most people.

Many people I know are finding jobs but the underemployed part seems to be a "normal" thing now--old school factory work just isnt the way any longer (both pros and cons huh). Multiple jobs is pretty typical it seems

seems to be happening throughout the country

We are seeing enormous increases in jobs being relocated to Denver. Half the people I speak with seeking housing are new to Denver. Many startups are moving to Denver and Boulder. There was even an article in Entrepreneur listing Boulder as one of the top places for startups to transition to.

The short answer is YES! 2013 was a year of records in areas such as employment growth, residential & commercial real estate & the stock market. Denver's employment growth in 2013 was higher the national average (a good thing). I am working a lot of relocation leads - mostly driven by our strong oil & gas industry.
