It's been a long time since I've been there, but when I worked downtown a friend of mine and I would go to Confluence Park with our bikes and head south. I can't tell you how long it is, but it goes for miles and it's a nice path.
I've also heard good things about Heron Pond, which is a part of Denver Parks and Recreation, but I haven't been there myself.
