What is the best tourist attraction in Colorado?

Our family just went to the Great Sand Dunes near Alamosa. I'm a native and had never been - we were blown away at just the sight of them and how fun they were to "play" in. Our kids are 10 and 13 and acted like toddlers in a huge sandbox. I'd highly recommend renting boards in Alamosa to slide down the dunes and make a day of it!
The Mountains themselves:)
Red Rocks are incredible as well as 7 falls in the Springs.
I really love the Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Glen Eyrie, Manitou Springs - all those great spots in and around Colorado Springs. Glen Eyrie is definitely one of my favorites; it's a castle that was transplanted from Britain to American by General Palmer. They now offer tours and retreats to people who want to visit the castle.
Love your story about the Dunes, they are close to my heart since childhood. There is nothing like a moonlit hike to the top at night no matter what the season, it seems like another planet!
