"Awesome fishing, lovely locals and genuinely the best place I've ever lived...."

Wow where to start, I have no intentions of ever moving away.
Donnybrook is an absolute gem tucked 10 minutes out of Caboolture/Morayfield, this means we get all the benefits of a small city with none of the crime or noise.
Giant cinemas, libraries, shopping centres, multiple schools, tafes, uni campus, hospitals, railway, heaps of local doctors, giant hardware warehouses and access to great beaches, restaurants etc all make it an easy place to live.
Thankfully, Donnybrook does not flood and seemed to handle the latest flood crisis with ease ( touch wood). The local waters at Donnybrook are excellent for fishing etc, the boat ramp is easy to access. There are parks, public toilets, two lovely takeaways, boat hire, a cravan park and a post office. There is also a realestate agent, and a bowls club that serves the best lunches.
We bought here a while back quite cheaply and suprisingly there are still quite a few bargains around, but now that the sewer is on and the local district is having such a population boom we expect things to change quite quickly. If we had the cash spare we would buy a few more properties to sit on as our nest egg. We have been quite suprised by how much building and renovating that has started in the last few months even in this economy.
Now that all houses have access to broadband internet, town water, sewer, town power, telephone etc etc I expect prices to jump over the next few years quite alot as everyone connects and settles in. The local council has alot of plans for Donnybrook and its future and we think this is a good thing. I am NOT a releastate agent, just an every day Joe with a family that came to visit Donnybrook on holidays and decided I never wanted to leave.
Brilliant town.. great people.

"A great place to live for anyone smart enough to realize the potential capitol gain"

A great area to bring up children or to retire and enjoy life. Not far from essential sevices, rail 10 mins away.School bus virtually to the door.A sleeping giant for investors so close to Pummistone passage yet without all the hustle and bustle of Bribie island.
