"Dunlop Meadows is beautiful, new ,safe and has great views!"

Dunlop has mainly three section:
1- Oldest part , which is towards macgregor and south of ginninderra. has bigger blocks of land and more bushy but it's old and has less bike tracks and walking foot path with older population.
2-Second part of Dunlop which is north of ginninderra and east of kerrigan , which is the biggest estate and is roughly around 20 years old is nice and safe neighbourhood , has woolworth super market on lance hill avenue.
3-The BEST part of Dunlop is the Meadows, which is west of kerrigan avenue and is a newly developed estate with big blocks and big and beautiful houses. residents are professionals and of higher socioeconomic background and streets are wide with footh path and bike tracks all around with beautiful tree lines. has a play ground on the back of every few street and is surrounded by beauty of nature such as brindabella mountains and ginninderra pond.
lots of nature reserve in between estates.
This section of Dunlop was developed since 2005,but they LDA and ACT govt has done a great job with its land release and planning. there are basically a few townhouse complexes of big and beautiful townhouses and over 95% of this section of Dunlop is mainly Single DETACHED residential houses with footpaths in front of them and wider natures trips than newly developed suburbs.
There are direct buses to belconnen Mall, at belconnen town centre and direct buses to city.
The Meadows, new section of Dunlop is in catchment or priority enrolment area of Fraser primary school , which is a great public school. other sections of dunlop are going to macgregor and charnwood primaries. there are private catholic primary and high schools and brindabella college private within 1.5Km. its less than 10 minutes drive to University of Canberra , AIS, CISACS, Calvary Hospital and Canberra stadium in Bruce.
Dunlop has excellent roads as it can connect to city directly through ginninderra drive or through kingsfordsmith and belconnen way.
The great thing about Belconnen area is that is has the best roads of the north Canberra and you can get to town centre from Dunlop in 10 minutes and to city only 15Kms, or 20mins drive.
You only need to visit this beautiful suburb to fall in love with. it provides affordable , beautiful , large and new houses for families and professionals. Dunlop Meadows is the best kept secret of Belconnen.

"Youthful Appeal"

Dunlop is located around 14 kms north west of Canberra. It has been designed around a number of smaller estates of between 50 to 100 houses. These are The Meadows, Ginninderra Ridge, Ginninderra Ponds, Dunlop Hills and Jarramlee Park. It has quite a young population with over a quarter being under the age of fifteen. There are a wide array of playgrounds catering for all ages. There are also several parks with walking tracks and bike paths. There are a number of shopping centres within a 10 minute drive and numerous schools nearby. Although they have neither a local school or shopping centre neither are too far away. It is a great place to raise a family.
Pros

  • Great parks and gardens

"Dunlop - a family friendly location."

Dunlop is a suburb of Belconnen that continues to provide home owners and investors alike with fantastic opportunities to purchase property. The now well established local shops, the Ginninderra Ponds, the many bike paths and walking trails and the feeling of space and been close to nature continue to be major factors in why people move to the area. Dunlop really is a place where kids can feel safe to play and for those with pets, there are plenty of options to get them out of the backyard and burn off some energy.
