Edison Park is a really nice area. It's safe and clean, and pretty welcoming. There are some quality restaurants, such as Zia's Trattoria, which is a GREAT Italian restaurant, and while it isn't exactly exciting for clubbers, it's a great place to visit. On the downside, if you're a city person it's a bit far away from downtown. Otherwise it's great!
