A Good Location?

Hi, is this street and general area a good place to live? Would buying a house here be a good decision?

For research into a place to live I always like visiting the street and suburb at different times of the day to see what is happening. Talking to neighbours provides valuable information, try and find an older person out watering the roses, they can be fountains of information on the people and history of the area and will provide plenty of reasons to live in or to avoid a street. Also visiting the local shopping centre provides feedback about the socio-economic makeup of an area. Schools and facilities might be the next step, would start with the walking around the street though and talking to neighbours.

Hopefully that answer is of help. Regards the good decision this question is impossible to answer as it will come back to what you are trying to achieve, also buying a house to live in has emotional and lifestyle benefits and costs to consider compared to just buying an investment property.
