Bartender looking to be apart of supportive community and easier commute to work/local work

So I work night shifts in town hall and generally close my bar at 2am. I desperately need to move from the northern beaches of Sydney, (it's just seriously not my scene). I am looking for an area with more space not building houses as big as we can on top of each other and flaunting money around. Trees are as important to me as having humble and approachable neighbours as well as a supportive friendly community I can feel welcome and apart of. I am in my mid twenties with my partner and looking to work closer to home and expand my art practice.
