Yes, there are some great mountain bike trails in Fort Collins! Blue Sky Trail (just south of Horsetooth Reservoir) is a really fun, roly-poly trail with some technical sections too. Also, there are some nice trails in Lory State Park.

Depends on your definition of mountain biking - if you're looking for really hilly, mountainous rides, you'll have to head for the mountains for that! However, there are still a lot of great bike trails to help you get around town within the city limits. Here's a link to the City's site for the bike trails: http://www.fcgov.com/bicycling/
