Usually, Larimer County's unemployment is at least even, if not lower than the state's average. There are a lot of big employers in the city, such as HP, Intel, the university (Colorado State), the hospital. A lot of up & coming industries are health care, manufacturing, retail/food services, agriculture...to name a few.
