The closest ski slopes to Fort Collins are at Eldora Mountain Resort which is about 21 miles west of Boulder off of Highway 119. That puts it about an hour and 15 minutes away from south Fort Collins. They have 11 ski lifts, including 2 quad chair lifts, 2 triple chair lifts, 4 double chair lifts, and 3 surface lifts. The longest run is about 3 miles and they also have bunny slopes for the kids or beginners. Have fun!

There are so many great slopes within a few hours but Winter Park and Vail are excellent. It also depends if you are just doing a day trip or going for the weekend or the week in case you plan on doing other things.
