Reviews of Gawler East, SA
Gawler East has the best of both worlds being a few minutes drive from the Barossa, 2 minutes drive to Gawler and only 10 minutes from the large shopping centre of Munno Parra.
The main street of Gawler is a lovely place to shop. Many of the buildings are heritage listed. There are many retail outlets to choose from as well as great places to dine in. Gawler has 3 supermarkets so we are spoilt for choice. The area is serviced well with several schools both public and private within minutes of each other as well as a Cinema, hospital, fire service and police.
The people are friendly. It's lovely to go for a walk and have people say hello. Conlea Park is fantastic with bike tracks, swings, nature walks, bbq's and even a free tennis court!
There are many established trees throughout the area which are home to several species of birds. There's nothing like waking up to the sound of birds singing :)

"A relaxed and quiet spot for family living"
Situated on the hill to the immediate east of the old main street of Gawler, Gawler East is a lovely residential suburb set slightly to one side from the hustle and bustle of central Gawler.
Accessing the main shopping areas of Gawler is just a five minute drive. You also have the added convenience of a small collection of shops, which are handy enough in case you need a carton of milk or newspaper on the weekend.
Gawler East has a couple of primary schools, and the high schools of Trinity College and Gawler High School are just a short bus ride away. There a lots of facilities in the surrounding area, including ballet schools, the Gawler swimming pool and the huge Starplex complex at Trinity College.
It is a lovely and quiet area for family living, with all of the facilities of the main town of Gawler just a short drive away.
