how's brighton in tasmania? is it a safe place? since it is not far from Bridegewater and Gagebrook.

Brighton is a great growing community. Since 2006 it has exploded in size and been extremely popular with first home buyers, If you are still interested within the area I'm always happy to chat
You have dodgy people in all communities & areas their not confined to the one area, I would be more inclined to worry about the one asking that question.I have been in the Brighton community since the early 80s. Since then the education system has taken a deep slide & regardless of all the new facilities there seems to be a shortage of securing qualified staff.
I don't think Brighton is considered to be a "dodgy" area. Its pretty safe. The thing with Tassie is that because it's such a small area you can have really good suburbs right next to really dodgy ones.
I can't comment on the school there but I would consider living there and sending kids to private schools in Hobart if the school wasn't great.
