Info about Green Point needed from locals please

We moved from Sydney to the Central Coast, close to The Entrance. Not sure we've made the right move. Looking at other places close by. Green Point looks interesting but would like to know move from locals. We're in our 50s. Is it easy to meet new people etc. Places to eat, have a drink, things to do etc. Is it a safe, friendly place to live? Any details much appreciated.

Green Point is nice quiet suburb, close to Erina shops, Green Point shops, heaps of primary and secondary schools around lots of Medical Centres around, less that 10 minutes to Gosford Hospital and Gosford train station, near the Gosford Art Gallery, 10-15 minutes to Terrigal Beach, Avoca Beach and other beaches, 15 minutes to the freeway, but still in a quiet area. half hour to The Entrance, definitely a nice place to live, retire and holiday.
