Is heildelberg safe? I hear alot of people talk about crime in the area

I'm not a resident in the area but I've been told multiple times it depends where you are in Heidelberg. If you are closer to the Ivenhoe end of town...the hospital etc.... apparently that is the much nicer and safer end....but if you are more towards the West end of Heidelberg it is considered a little more "dodgy" .... hopefully this helps
