This is a magnificent north facing block in a fertile forestry area. It was clear felled 10-12 years ago and left due to the collapse of the MIS plantation industry. The diversified regrowth of Regnans, Man ferns, Blackwoods and other rain forest species without the use of fire is amazing. The view across to Tyenna Peak (pictured)and the Southern end of the Mount Field National Park is spectacular. With a little careful pruning of the bush, views of Mount Mueller, Tim Shea and The Needles would be possible. The block has been recently surveyed at quite some cost. Some of the pictures are of the view from the block. Sunny, north facing blocks in Maydena are hard to come by.
