The vineyard is north facing which is ideal for the cool climate noble grape, Pinot Noir. The vineyard currently 2.5 acres (1.2 hectares) of premium quality Pinot Noir vines (10 years old) which yield between 3.5 and 4 tonnes of grapes per year, converting to between 350 400 dozen bottles (4,200 4,800 bottles) of premium wine currently selling for approximately $30 per bottle.

The MV6 ancient clone of the Pinot Noir vine was chosen specifically for a number of reasons, including:
