I picked him up at the Ayr Railway Station, he came to town especially to buy a home in Ayr. The owner of this property fell in love with this run down home, every opportunity he would phone or call into the office to tell me what he had fixed or upgraded, only the best for his home. He loved his brand new 2 bay colourbond shed where he kept his pride and joy, which was his car and boat. Everything he did he was so proud of. Proud he owned his own home, even though it needed work and proud of the position in Wilmington Street often telling me it was a high block of land, "no flood waters here". He was a grumpy old man with a big heart, always telling me what I should do. Now he has joined his wife and left instructions for me to sell his dearly loved home.
