From the property it is just a short stroll down to the river where there is a safe swimming spot next to the picnic ground which you can be seen from the shack, ideal for keeping an eye on older children as they cool off in the hotter weather.

Being one of Tasmania's best kept secrets the seaside village of Weymouth is situated at the mouth of the picturesque Pipers River, giving you a choice of ocean beachfront or the calmer waters of the estuary. Recreational activities such as swimming, fishing, sailboarding and water skiing are all popular pastimes during the summer holiday period. The town has a relaxed community atmosphere making it a great place to holiday or reside in, on a more permanent basis.

Weymouth now has 2 boat ramps with the new ocean ramp available for use, ideal for larger boats. Then there is the existing boat ramp on the river ideal for smaller craft.
