We have spent 33 wonderful years in our home. It is going to be hard to leave as we have so many fond memories here. Our long-term neighbours have turned out to be great friends and we have been blessed to be involved in a tight-knit community.

The layout of our home has worked perfectly for our growing family. As our two daughters became teenagers the upstairs became their own retreat, with two double bedrooms either end plus a living area and bathroom in the middle. The upstairs undercover terrace became the perfect spot to gaze out to a beautiful backdrop, not to mention the cool summer breeze from the North East aspect.

The downstairs offers room for the whole family with two living areas and an open plan kitchen which overlooks the pool. The two bedrooms and bathroom at the far wing of the home offered further privacy.

The private pool area became the perfect entertaining area and some great parties were definitely shared here or it was always the perfect spot to spend a lazy Sunday.

We are absolutely going to miss the spectacular sunsets looking out to Wakehurst golf course with nature our neighbour. The track next to our home provides us with a 10 minute bush walk to Manly Dam plus, on an adventurous trek along one of the marked trails, you will discover a surprise waterfall, the perfect destination for tranquillity and to forget about city life. The kiddies park down the road was the perfect spot when our daughters were toddlers.

Although we often felt we were living by the countryside with our own piece of wilderness at our doorstep, public transport (city and local) is only level walking distance down the road and the local shopping centre and school also walking distance nearby. Its close to the surf and its close to main roads that take you north and south, but its also nicely tucked away. It is also only one suburb away from the new Northern Beaches Hospital.

It has now come time to downsize however we will always love 1 Cootamundra Drive. We are certain the next family will enjoy this much-loved home and location as much as we have.
