4 kilo watt) there is a 6000 watt diesel generator connected to the system to kick in when the battery gets to a certain voltage ( when it rains or cloudy weather for a prolong period , approx 4 days of no sunshine ) the Gen set should be used once or twice a year, it would be practice to start it up every 7/8 weeks for approx 20/30 minutes just to keep the diesel motor ticking over. The battery has a 10 year warranty the inverter was put in new May 2020 has a 5 year warranty. The Gen set holds 20 litres of diesel fuel, electric start connected. Hot water system is a 200L,set on a timer to use day light hours best.
