Drive down the private driveway and watch the street disappear behind you.
The neighbours go quiet. The block opens up. You're standing on 6,894m², roughly 1.7 acres, and it feels like your own address on the map.

This is where the kids make noise. The dogs run flat out. Friends stay past dark. Nobody complains, because there's nobody close enough to hear.
Welcome to 1 Madon Close, Gordonvale.

Here's what most 1.7-acre blocks don't offer. You don't spend the next five years fixing this one. The current owners already did that work.

They renovated the kitchen with stone benchtops and new cabinetry. They upgraded the laundry with extra storage. They replaced the flooring and carpet through the whole house. They installed approximately 11 new air conditioning units.

They also handled the parts you can't see. New electrical wiring and switchboards. Generator changeover already wired in. Updated smoke alarms. Extensive security screening throughout.

Solar hot water keeps running costs down. Strong water pressure and in-ground irrigation keep the grounds alive without a fight.

A Layout Built For Big Families
Step through double doors from the porch into a wide foyer. A formal lounge sits to one side. The central dining area links every part of the home. Beyond it, the family room flows into the renovated kitchen.

Then comes the sun room. French doors open it straight to the backyard. Use it as a rumpus, a playroom or a second lounge. That's four separate living zones. Everyone gets their own space.

The primary suite sits at the front, away from the other bedrooms. It comes with a walk-in robe and a private ensuite. Next door, a 3m x 4m bedroom doubles as a home office, nursery or guest room.

Three more bedrooms sit off the internal hallways. The main bathroom has a bath and a separate shower. A separate toilet eases the morning rush. The laundry opens straight outside.

Five bedrooms. Two bathrooms. A house that's ready the day you get the keys.
This Is Where Your Weekends Happen Now

Step outside to a 6m x 8m covered entertaining area built for long tropical evenings and backyard barbecues. A second covered patio out in the yard gives you another shaded spot.

Established mango and citrus trees sit through the block. Recent landscaping opened up the entrance with rock and boulder features, so the arrival feels as good as the block itself.

Bring the boat. Bring the trailer. Bring the extra car you've had nowhere to park. A 6m x 6m double garage, a separate shed and extensive parking mean you stop apologising for the vehicles in your driveway.

Behind you, parkland and a seasonal creek replace the neighbour's fence line. From the elevated parts of the block, you get views toward Walsh's Pyramid. You won't get that looking at a Colorbond fence.
