The Windsor Road Estate was "for sale on ground on Saturday 28th June 1924 at 2.30pm". At this time Crescent Road was named "One Chain Road". The block was purchased by Mr Thomas Aitchison Kilpatrick who built and named the home "Prairie" circa 1926.
