We have lived in our home for fourteen years. Previous to this home we lived on the side of Buderim with a view from Mt Ninderry to Point Cartwright however it was a difficult home to live in being on such steep ground. When we decided to move it was imperative that our new home was on flat land and had an equally beautiful outlook. We had often been over to Twin Waters and perused though the display homes of which 11 Nautilus was one of them never dreaming that it would become our long term home.

We initially were looking for a vacant canal block on which to build however upon speaking to the local agent he told about this display home that had just come on the market.

Due to our frequent visits we knew the house and when revisited we were sure it was the home for us.

The features we fell in love with were the views of the canal which is uninterrupted for approximately one kilometre, the fact that we would only have one neighbour with the park on the northern side, the spacious open plan living area as we are not ones for formal dining rooms that never get used. The luxurious Master bedroom with balcony, large ensuite and even a small kitchenette to make our morning coffee.

The home is easy to live in and out of and we spend much of our time on the deck for meals, entertaining and just plain old relaxation.

The extra driveway is a relatively new addition allowing us to park our large caravan onsite.

Nautilus Place is quiet area with stable neighbours who have nearly all been here as long as or longer than us.

Twin Waters is a safe and beautiful place to live with approximately 6 kilometres of walking tracks around the lake and through the parks. Close to all facilities and yet quiet and peaceful the dog friendly beach is a couple of kilometres and the lake is a perfect place for kayaking and fishing. The canal system is closed off from the river which means there are no noisy boats and tourists passing by as in other canal systems.

We have decided to sell our home due to the desire to downsize as we travel extensively in our caravan and want somewhere we can lock and load. We will be very sad to leave our home and I know there will be mixed feelings from us and our adult children.
