Innes is a particularly famous surfing destination, hosting South Australia's most prestigious surfing event, the Cut loose Coopers Classic. This is held in Innes National Park at Chainman’s every October long weekend. Innes offers amazing history dating back into the early century and some of the most unique coastlines and attractions in South Australia. Being at the bottom of the Peninsula offers the chance to fish in two gulfs, the gulfs of Spencer or the Gulf of St Vincent. Both gulfs offer a different style of fishing, the St Vincent Gulf offers mouth-watering King George Whiting and the Spencer Gulf massive snapper.
