Low Jip Family grew bananas and pineapples on the property from 1949 until 1964 year when the family was granted a cane assignment with the Mossman Mill . The clearing of the property was completely cleared so that the whole property was producing sugar cane. The average yearly production was 2100 tonnes of sugar cane.
