The Cattle Farm
Emerald View is an affordable 96.4 hectares or 238 acre rural lifestyle property in the historic Grandchester district that amazingly has been held in the one extended family for the past 147 years. Since Day 1 Emerald View has been an ideal farm for grazing - initially a dairy farm but operating as a cattle property since 1968. Emerald View is ideally located just 75 kilometres or just over an hour from the Brisbane CBD. Ipswich is less than half that. Importantly Rosewood, being the western extremity of the electric train network, is just 12 minutes away. Both rail and school buses connect Grandchester with Rosewood.
