Large block in the main street of Waratah right next door to the Historical Bischoff hotel. Right across the road is the Waratah Falls, Waratah is acclaimed as the only town to have a waterfall in the main street and is rich in history including the first town to have an electric light post. The museum catalogues the rich history of this area. Located on the edge of the Savage River National Park and 40 minutes from Cradle Mountain and Burnie and a scenic drive back through the Hellyer Gorge to the North West Coast or down through the rugged West Coast to Strahan.
