Train arrival times at Hawkesbury River station from Central are at 10:48 am and 11:48 am to coincide with the Dangar Island ferry service from Brooklyn that departs at 11:00 am and 12 midday from the ferry terminal minutes away from the station located along the dirt road parallel to the railway line just north of Hawkesbury River station. Return trips by ferry to Brooklyn are on the hour from 1:45pm. A Water Taxi service is available if pre-booked on 0422 300 100.
