This cliff-top haven was originally built as a sanctuary and multi religion and beliefs retreat in the early 1990s. Sited deliberately on researched ley lines that acknowledge the power of energies that flow between Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the centre of Australia and the South Pole, Terralinna is unique.

The name of the property means 'earth lines' a homage to the power of the Southern Ocean and the towering, fossilised cliffs that are its foundation. It is understood over the years to have been a welcoming host to Sannyasin and Buddhist priests, noted Hindu holy men, and the Muwinina elders. Yoga and meditation classes were held here privately and for State Educational Institutions until the late 1990s.

The current owners, artists, poets and writers themselves have enjoyed Terralinna as their own and family's personal, peaceful retreat for some 23 years. There is an ambience here they have discovered, that calms the mind and promotes creative thinking.
