WHAT THE OWNERS LOVE ABOUT THEIR HOME AND LOCATION

We first saw this property 11 years ago, it was coming to the end of winter and the first thing we noticed was the bright and warm feel of the place. The winter sun fills the back patio and spills into the kitchen giving a warm feel to the house in the cool mornings.
We loved the location being only 20 minutes from major shopping areas and 5 minutes to our local shopping centre that has everything. The city and Chatswood buses run regularly and the bus stop is just up the steps at the top of the cul-de-sac.

We found the house easy to live in and we couldnt have asked for a nicer group of neighbours. Having all the living areas on one level is great, and there is the added advantage of huge storage space downstairs under the house.
Over the years we have made many improvements, and we believe that the house and the gardens provide space for all the family to enjoy time together or separately. Glenrose Theatre is close by along with many primary schools including Kambora (2 min drive), Mimosa (3 min drive), St Martins (2 min drive) and Wakehurst Public (6-7 min drive) not far.

Davidson High School is about a 5 min drive away and takes about 20 mins to walk to. Lionel Watts Oval is close by and there is McFarlane Oval just up the road. There is also a local coffee shop, hairdresser and others in Pound Avenue.

The new Northern Beaches Hospital will be about a 10 min drive and to get to the beaches either down Mona Vale Road or Warringah Road is about 20 mins away.
We have loved living in the area and will miss the early morning birdsong and the tranquillity that feels like you are a million miles from all of the hustle and bustle of the modern world, when in reality its only a few minutes away.
