* HomeBuilder will be available for building contracts signed between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2020, where construction commences within 3 months of the contract date.
* Homebuilder is available to Australian citizens aged 18 years or older subject to two income caps - $125,000 for individuals, or $200,000 for couples.
* The new house must be the principal place of residence with a value (house AND land) that does not exceed $750,000.

Queensland First Home Owners Grant $15,000 grant:

The Queensland First Home Owners' Grant is a state government initiative to help first home owners to get their new first home sooner. A grant is available of $15,000 towards building your new house.

* The Grant is available for Australian citizens or permanent residents over 18 years of age, who have not previously owned property in Australia. There is no means test.
* The grant recipient must move into the new home as principle place of residence within 1 year of the completed transaction and remain resident for 6 months.
* The value of the home including the land must be less than $750,000
