As the sun rises over the mountains all you can hear are the birds calling from the beautiful native garden. Enjoy your morning coffee and check out the lake conditions from the balcony off the huge master suite. If it's one of those picture perfect days when the water is like glass, you can launch your boat at the members only Mountain Bay deep water boat ramp and be out on the lake within minutes. And when you come home why not jump in the spa to unwind. It's so private that clothing really is optional!
Preparing meals will be a pleasure in the superbly appointed open plan kitchen, or if you prefer to eat out you can be at one of Mansfield's great cafes within 10 or 15 minutes. It's a sealed road all the way and when you're home there's a remote entry double garage to keep your pride and joy clean and secure. There's also a big carport for your boat or caravan and plenty of space to build a shed with over an acre on title.
When it's time to retire for the night, there's room for all your family and friends with another couple of bedrooms (in addition to the huge master suite) and a large separate study that would make a great bunk room. We think you will have a few keen visitors when they discover you have moved to this amazing property! The huge light filled living area that flows out the super private spa deck is a great space for entertaining. There's another smaller deck on the other side home too, so everyone can find their own favourite spot to enjoy the views.
The home and gardens have been designed to be very low maintenance to allow you to relax and take full advantage of the good life on offer in Mountain Bay. Long lasting cladding never needs painting. Just a quick wash with soapy water will have it looking like new!
Thoughtful design of the house, including huge windows and sliding doors for cross ventilation, plus excellent insulation in the roof and walls, keep the home naturally cool in summer and warm in winter. When it's really chilly there's a great wood fire (and about 2 years supply of firewood neatly stacked for you) and on a super-hot mid-summer night you could turn on the reverse cycle air-conditioning but the current owners tell us they have hardly had to use it. The proximity to Lake Eildon helps moderate the temperature too.
