Remember the kind of general store Mum and Dad used to send you down to for a pound of butter, loaf of bread and let you keep the change for a milkshake and bag of mixed lollies when you were a kid? According to local Council (Dorset) who track numbers, 30,000 visitors rode the trails last year and approximately 50,000 are expected next year. Tourism is booming in NE Tassie with internationally ranked class golf courses, wineries and MTB trails on our doorstep. There is a growing demand for a variety of tourism related businesses as well as regular town businesses to support the increasing population of support staff working in the tourism industry.
