Location: Box Hill is well located approximately 20kms west of Lucindale and 35kms east of Kingston SE in the Avenue Range district noted for its reliability and productivity.

Land: From heavy black clay loam over Limestone being naturally fertile and highly productive. Paddocks comprising this soil type mostly also contains Limestone shoulder providing balance. Varying to gently undulating lighter loam offering excellent balance and seasonal pasture growth diversification.

Pastures: Pastures comprise perennial gasses including phalaris, fescue, cocksfoot, subclover, Persian clovers and strawberry clover. Pastures are generally highly improved and exhibiting excellent growth and colour.
Timber: The property is ideally timbered with areas of native vegetation retained for livestock shade and shelter.

Livestock Water: The water system is supplied under natural pressure from the confined aquifer. The water is piped from a bore at the home site to poly tanks located throughout the property. The water is controlled using double float valves at each tank. Concrete troughing in each paddock. Two windmills also in use. The simplicity and reliability of the livestock water system is a stand out feature of the property.
