Dear Future Homeowner,
When we first laid eyes on this home, something about it just felt right. Our kids were 8 and 6 at the time, and the moment we saw the big backyard and the pool, we could picture it all-splashing on hot afternoons, games of tag on the grass, and peaceful moments watching the sun set behind the trees.
The home backs right onto the golf course, so there are no rear neighbours-just quiet, green views and the calming sound of birdsong. Being at the end of a cul-de-sac was another gift: it gave our kids the freedom to ride their bikes safely and left us with plenty of space for guests to park on the roomy driveway.
This house has been a beautiful backdrop to years of family memories-easy Sunday BBQs, birthday parties, school milestones, and lazy evenings in the front lounge by the fireplace. We've made a lot of improvements over the years, not just to make the home look better, but to make it more liveable, more welcoming, and more us.
Outdoor Improvements:
- Leveled and landscaped the backyard to create a safe, usable space for kids and entertaining
- Added a side-access path and installed a storage shed
- Redesigned the pool area with decking and new landscaping - a great setting for kids' parties and summer afternoons
- Built a fully undercover outdoor entertaining area with a concrete floor, ceiling fan, and lights - it's become our weekend hangout spot, even on chilly nights with a fire pit
- Landscaped and leveled the front yard for greater street appeal
- Installed a concrete side driveway for boat/trailer/car access
- Painted the roof tiles and the home's exterior render
- Installed solar panels for energy efficiency
- Added an EV charging unit for our electric vehicle
- Put up a side fence to the council easement for privacy and practicality
- Installed a gate for direct golf course access
- Fitted Ring security cameras for peace of mind
Indoor Improvements:
- Fully repainted the interior in neutral, calming tones
- Installed brand new carpet with a soft, comfortable underlay
- Fully renovated all bathrooms - main, ensuite, and downstairs powder room
- Renovated the laundry with better layout and storage, and added a charming barn door
- Redesigned the kitchen with new appliances including an electric oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, and a striking marble waterfall bench
- Created a coffee station and additional storage in the kitchen
- Installed a servery window from the kitchen to the outdoor deck - perfect for entertaining
- Added a fireplace in the front lounge - our favourite spot for morning coffee or evening wind-downs
- Installed a new heat pump hot water system (2023)
- Added ducted air conditioning upstairs for year-round comfort
- Installed two split-system air conditioning units downstairs
- Hidden under-stair storage for convenience
- Added a security alarm system for extra peace of mind
As much as we love the house, it's the feeling of the home that has meant the most. Summer afternoons out back are something we'll never forget-BBQ sizzling, kids laughing in the pool, a game playing in the background, and all of us just being together. It's those little moments that have added up to a life well-lived here.
If there's one thing we could take with us, it'd be that backyard. It's been our private oasis-a place to relax, connect, and make memories. But now, it's time to pass it on to someone new. We hope you feel the same sense of warmth and belonging here as we did.
Warmest wishes,
The Current Owners
