The river frontage is in excess of 2kms with some scenic wide sections of the iconic water course. "Hillandale" runs from river flats lifting up to the hilly sections on the northern end of the property which gives uninterrupted views to the surrounding countryside. Soil types run from river loam to granite with some gravel parcels. It has not been over cleared so there are many natural timber areas over the entire property. The natural timber mainly consists of marri and jarrah with flooded gum along the river.
