'Wattle Grove/White Rock' is a substantial 932 Ha (2,303 acre) property on nine titles located in the St Paul's Valley on Tasmania's Eastern Tiers.

The Wattle Grove property has a long history of wool production and won the exclusive Zegna Wool Trophy in 2004 for high-quality fine Merino wool. Converting some or all of the current plantation areas back to pasture could allow a buyer to enjoy the experience of ownership in one of Tasmania's leading wool production regions.

A 25 Ha pastured area contains a house and outbuildings which are derelict but could be replaced, together with a shearing shed which is in better condition which could be replaced, or repaired if a purchaser wanted to retain the old-world charm of hand-split lining boards and shingles.

There is ample water with a number of dams and seasonal creeks. The attractive Stable Creek, which rises in the elevated Crown land on the southern boundary, winds its way through the property down past the farm buildings, and runs most of the year except after dry spells. The largest dam is fed by groundwater and has been well-stocked at all times during the Vendor's ownership.

The balance of the property is 557 Ha of native forest (mainly Inland Black Peppermint forest and woodland, with areas of Brooker’s Gum and Tasmanian Oak). 122 Ha of the native forest is under covenant.

'Wattle Grove/White Rock' is a 90 minute drive to Launceston CBD and 15 minutes to Avoca as the closest township for service station and/or general food supplies.
