Summer afternoons on the deck are just magic, with the creek gurgling away and some stunning parrots dropping into to say hello...and maybe nibble on a piece of apple if you're feeling generous.
Winter is amazing too! It does snow here from time to time (and we can send you the photos), and Mt Buller and Mt Stirling are literally minutes away. Of course, there's a handy drying room for your snow gear!
The Delatite River is within walking distance for keen fly fishers, or just maybe you just want to splash around in the crystal clear water. There's also a vast array of forest tracks in the nearby State Forests, calling out for you to explore on your motorbike or 4WD. And then there's the huge aquatic playground of Lake Eildon within easy reach too! So much to do...so little time...and maybe you just want to chill out at home.
The house is an amazing 'home base' with both charm and comfort. Soaring cathedral ceilings in the main living area, and a nice big updated kitchen set up to cook for a crowd. And we know you will have lots of family and friends keen to visit when they find out about your new High Country retreat....maybe keep it a secret for a little while!!!
