Terranora is a town located in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia in Tweed Shire. Located just a 15 minute drive away is Greenmount beach, just one of the famous beaches of the Gold Coast. Kingscliff and Casuarina precincts are 15 minutes to the south and world re-known

HOSPITALS & SPECIALIST MEDICAL FACILITIES:

It is anticipated that construction of the new Tweed Valley Hospital will be completed in 2023. The 430-bed Tweed Valley Hospital will have an expanded emergency department with 42 treatment spaces, 12 operating theatres and expanded outpatient services. It will provide more beds, with an expanded emergency department, enhanced medical, surgical and mental health services, expanded outpatient services with more clinics, a new interventional cardiology service and new radiotherapy service as part of integrated cancer care. The Tweed Valley Hospital is a 10 minute drive south. The Tweed Hospital is still being utilised whilst construction of the new hospital is taking place.
A variety of Specialist and medical facilities are available in the area with John Flynn Private Hospital a 15 minute drive north also providing a broad range of services to cater for all your requirements.

SCHOOLS:

There is a broad range of schooling both in Primary and Secondary on offer in this region, 5 of which are ranked from 73% to 94% in the State. Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar, St James Primary School, Terranora Public School, Banora Point Public School and Centaur Public School are all within close proximity to Altitude Estate with other schools also available. There is a wide variety of childcare facilities to select from.

SPORTS:

Due to our climate, sports play a major role with residence and visitors to the area.
