It will provide more beds, with an expanded emergency department, enhanced medical, surgical and mental health services, expanded outpatient services with more clinics, a new interventional cardiology service and new radiotherapy service as part of integrated cancer care. The Tweed Valley Hospital is a 10 minute drive south. The Tweed Hospital is still being utilised whilst construction of the new hospital is taking place.
A variety of Specialist and medical facilities are available in the area with John Flynn Private Hospital a 15 minute drive north also providing a broad range of services to cater for all your requirements.
