SITUATED:
Kennedy Highway, between Mareeba and Kuranda approximately 40 minutes to Cairns Airport.
AREA:
207.42 Ha approximately 512 Acres on two titles. Mareeba Shire.
COUNTRY:
Flat to gently undulating farming country, running to forest grazing (approx 32 Ha) country on the
Eastern side. Timbered with Box, Gum, Ironbark and some Ti tree and grassed with native and
improved (Stylos, Brachiaria and Glycine legumes) grasses.
Predominantly Tolga and Walkamin soil types with smaller areas of Cobra and Morgan types.

CROPPING:

There is a CPA of 100 Ha to supply Mackay Sugar and last year the farm produced 6,500
tonnes.
Cane ranges from first Ratoon (9 Ha) to fourth Ratoon (14 Ha).

Bananas and most other Tableland crops.
This area of the Tableland is known for its quality red Tolga and Walkamin soil types, with high
